Travel Advice/Travel Tips -  Am I wearing the right shoes?

Since  August, 2006 all travelers are REQUIRED to remove their shoes for scanning before entering the walk-through metal detector at security stations in U.S. airports.

TIP: Since the current security screening process includes x-ray inspection of footwear, wearing shoes that are easily removable can speed you through the screening process.
